Hey y'all.. I know some of you are wondering 'has UTM died?' and the answer is.. No.

We've been given an amazing opportunity and the majority of us couldn't say no.. so all of our focus is on that opportunity right now. As soon as the rush has ended (around Oct. 5) it is our hope to do 3 or 4 releases from projects that got shuffled off due to this opportunity we were given. Included on those is hitman2 and possibly the end of nightmare.. I can't recall the other projects that are done, just waiting some minor QC and corrections.. but I do know I was excited to see hitman2 come in all finished and I look forward to releasing it before I leave for Yaoi-Con.

I'm sorry to make you all wait so.. I wish there was like ten of me and I could do all the various things I need/want to do in life.. one of which is to bring you guys awesome scanlations.. but alas.. there is only one of me.. and between my kids, work and insanely cool opportunities.. I'm at my max.. as is the rest of the staff.

Please continue to support us.. and I promise, we will continue (if slowly) to show our love to you guys.

Hey all!

So I know that some of you have been super depressed, because suddenly, downloading from the site has not been nearly as super easy as it was before. I thank ALL of you that have emailed me. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.. as it gives us vital information on how to write the new download code so that no one has issues any longer.

That being said.. there is one thing that you all should have enabled.. and it should make downloading a bit easier. Cookies. EdK, our lovely sysadm for the site, input some code that sets a cookie on your computer. So long as your computer allows that cookie, you shouldn't have any major issues downloading. You will need to visit the main site and click Projects, Scanlations, [Fandom] from time to time, in order to reset that cookie, but that's the only real hoop you should be "jumping" through.. so to speak.

SO.. we have been putting off doing any releases because of all the assholes that have been hotlinking and the issues with trying to stop them and writing new download code and well.. all of it. Someone pointed out that you guys would probably prefer to jump through these little hoops in order to enjoy our releases.. rather than get nothing at all.. so I'm giving it a go. ^_^ Please, PLEASE, DO email me if there are any other issues. If you reach the illegal download page, tell me exactly how you got to it. That way we can write new code to make it so that no one has any issues anymore.

Today we bring you a new fandom! (well.. new to us anyways. ) Death Note! No graphics knowledge needed.. just an extreme love of all things doujinshi. You must have an acute attention to detail and be willing to visit many sites and note down all kinds of info. While checking some things the other day, I found that not only are people disregarding our request to NOT post our downloads to external sites.. they're also hotlinking to our downloads.. which, yeah, that's kinda my fault.. I thought the code had been written well enough to prevent that.. but still.. that people would be so disrespectful.. I was astonished. On top of posting our stuff to outside places like mediafire.. it really made me sad.. then it made me angry.. and then I began to wonder if we should even scanlate anymore. I mean, if folks are just gonna give us the middle finger after all our hard work.. it just really, really makes me sad.

As is the love that most of my family shows.. today is a release filled with love for the fandom I am the most gaga over right now. Thanks to everyone, we were able to get these done in time to make it a Happy Birthday release to me. ^_^ My scanlation family sure does know how to make me feel all gooey inside.

Yup.. I'm abusing my power.. as I would for anyone else in the group if they were in the same situation as me.

On Tuesday, I was involved in a really bad car accident. I'm okay.. bruised.. sore.. but alive. It's my poor car that took the brunt of it all. So today I am writing to ask if you guys can help support me by telling everyone you know.. or by possibly looking to see if any of the books I have for sale are of interest to you. I'll be posting another LJ that will have a ton of character goods, posters and such. So if you can take the time to visit my personal LJ.. or my ebay account.. that would be awesome. In a surprise attack joint venture with Lady Phantomhive Scanlations, we bring you one of many releases today. However, as disappointing as it is, the one long awaited release isn't gonna happen. Sorry folks. I'm hoping to finish it soon.. but almost everyone in the group got bogged down with school and classes that they didn't think would be quite so harsh.

The abusive behavior of the 'clientele' and the disregard for our work has become really bad lately. It makes me super sad. Same goes for Nihonomaru. Please respect our wishes to not have our works shared in there.
