Here's our much anticipated (part) release of The Nightmare Before Christmas. We decided as a group that rather than wait, we'd release the first part tonight and finish up the last bit for Valentine's. I hope you all can forgive us. This was a very hard project.. 70pgs long and lots of back breaking work.

This release was worked on by almost every member of the staff, as well as some members who are no longer with us. It's been a long time comin'.. so without further ado~



The Nightmare Before Christmas

This is a minor update before our holiday release schedule.. one that I think you all should be informed about.

We started a Yahoo! Group so that you could get up to the minute information on our releases. The first place the release will be listed is here of course, but the next place will be our Yahoo! Group.. then LJ.. then other sites and so on. If you're extremely busy over the holidays and just want to know when our releases are out.. I highly recommend joining. You'll be notified via email of our releases and any discussions happening about them. It's a convenient way to find info out, with little work or searching on your part.

Yup, new fandom folks.. I find it very disturbing that it's so hard to find Blood+ doujinshi.. and have it be GOOD doujinshi. So while this isn't the best art, it has a really erotic storyline and I actually have more works by this artist.

While I would love to tell you guys that a specific release will be next.. it's totally up in the air right now. School started, so my own time is limited.. and while we gained another editor, we are still in need of more editors.. as well as more typesetters. Yanno.. I've done this like.. I dunno.. a MILLION times it feels like.. I talk about what the next release will be.. and BAM!.. it ends up being a fandom/piece that I hadn't even thought would be done anytime soon. WHAT THE HELL?! Am I really sucha loser that I can't even figure that much out? (erg.. don't answer that..!)

Anyhow, the reason for this mini-rant.. is because I realized, I've been saying that the Blood+ and XxxHOLiC releases would be next.. then some KHR.. I hadn't even THOUGHT that this piece would be done.. but then.. I end up beginning a project.. then putting it aside to work on something else and coming back to it later.. completely forgetting that I got the thing half way done.. heh. So many projects, so little time. ^_^

Kuroshitsuji - Miniature Garden (Hakoniwa)

So I had a bunch of people bug and bug at me to get a Twitter account. Finally, I broke down and did it. So if any of you wanna follow my very disturbing banter and the status of the projects that I'm currently working on, feel free to follow me on Twitter. I usually sob about fonts, talk about my personal stuff and shout about the current project I'm in the middle of editing.

Just as a mini-update for those of you.. I have two Kuroshitsuji projects that I'm working on, three KHR projects, an FMA piece, an XxxHOLiC piece, a Death Note piece and two Togainu no Chi. The Blood+ piece is almost done being typeset by one of our newer typesetters, so that might actually end up being the next release. ^_^

I have to say, the first time I read this book.. I laughed my ass off. It's the same type of humour as the fairy tail book we released a few months ago. Well, it's also by the same mangaka.. so I guess that's to be expected.. heh. ^^

Also, if you're an editor, translator or typesetter.. please, please, please give us some thought. Right now, I'm the only editor on active duty.. which is why it can take so long to get some things released. I have a bunch of Samurai Champloo and Katekyo Hitman REBORN! doujinshi that are in need of some translation as well. Not to mention the other fandoms available. So please don't hesitate to drop me an email and tell me all about yr experience and ideas. I may be slow on the response, but I will respond and we can take it from there. ^_^

Not long after that, I got a series of emails begging me to scanlate stuff from that series. Seeing as I had never read the series.. or watched it.. I decided to look into the matter.
